At last, spring has sprung!
Celebrate tonight and root for the home teams as Villanova and St. Joe’s represent the City of Brotherly Love at the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. First, watch St. Joe’s take on UConn at 6:55 p.m. and then watch Villanova and Milwaukee at 9:25 p.m. Both games will be broadcasted on TBS. You can also stream the games online. • Arsenic and Old Lace at the Walnut Street Theatre: The Walnut Street Theatre brings major laughs to the stage as it presents Arsenic and Old Lace, a classic farce about two elderly church-going sisters who are known for their charitable acts around town. One of their lesser-known “acts of kindness” includes serving sad lonely men elderberry wine laced with poison. The sisters believe they’re committing acts of mercy by helping the men find everlasting peace, however, a visiting nephew who discovers their crimes thinks otherwise. Tonight’s show is slated to begin at 8 p.m. and tickets start at just $10.
